Gale is going to be taking to the stage in September in "Windows On The World"!
"Kicking off the 20th season of its new play development program, the Living Room Series, Hollywood's Blank Theatre will present an all-star reading of Windows On The World by Colette Keen on Monday, September 12 at 8pm at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood. "The events of 9/11 had a profound impact on all of us. Many people chose to express their grief through art. We were moved by the depth of this play, and could think of no better way to pay tribute to the memory of those we lost, as well as honor those who survived," said Daniel Henning, The Blank's Founding Artistic Director."
On stage along with Gale, and among many others, Noah Wyle (ER) and Nicholas Brendon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer).

The official description for the series premiere of The Secret Circle, airing on the 15th of September, has been released by The CW Network:

Hi people! Hope you have a nice week… Lately some people are posting pictures of Gale, which I consider to be very private (we DO know about those pictures!). They’re private moments stolen from Gale’s “daily life”.
On this site you’ll never find this kind of photos, because, as we clearly state in our Disclaimer, we respect Gale’s private life and we know how much he cares about his privacy. We can easily imagine that it can be very difficult to refrain from taking photos of our beloved actors. But they are persons and we MUST respect them.

Just a small update... The dates for the Fall TV Preview events at the Paley Center for Media in L.A have been released:
"Fall TV preview time is almost upon us once again! And The Paley Center for Media right here in Los Angeles (well, Beverly Hills) has set dates and schedules for their annual fall previews for each major network.
The CW kicks off the week long event on the evening of September 6th, giving fans a first glimpse at their three new programs Ringer, Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle.

As always, Paley will be boasting screenings of the new pilots, in addition to parties and panels with select talent from each show. A small update about TSC from Jim Halterman's latest "Ask Jim" column:
"Question: Do you know how many episodes there are/will be to Secret Circle?
Answer: As of now, there are 12 episodes plus the pilot but assuming the show starts strong, it should easily get a full order for the season, which will total 22 episodes. Fingers are crossed!"
Jim also mentions the interview he did with Gale at the TCA:
"I was doing my interviews with Mr. Harold and the rest of the Secret Circle cast for one of the sites I work with, www.TheFutonCritic.com, so it will be posted there around the time of the September 15th premiere. "Miller is confident that we will indeed, and he uses an example we can relate to. "Damon Salvatore kills like a hundred people in the first six episodes of 'The Vampire Diaries,'" he laughs. "And you can't not love that guy. I'm learning from the master of storytelling in this genre, Kevin Williamson, and he can make anything happen. Mysterious? Ulterior motives? "Ulterior motives is a good one," Henstridge offered. "Yeah, we just always have motives! It's great, it's fun. I get to sort of put him up to things, too. It seems like it's sort of unraveling in that way where he's not my minion (he'd hate it if I said that) ... he's got his own set of things. He's like fire in a bottle, and he's excited by the magic, and I have my eye on the long-term, big scheme. Working with Gale is great; he's an unusual fellow. He is really super creative, and he's interesting. He's really interesting.""

"Charles Meade will have to put on a front and seem like a nice guy to most of the people in Chance Harbor, as it is a small town. "I think, for Charles, for my character, it's going to be pivotal to maintain that veil, right?" he asked. "I think he's always going to be looking over his shoulder and looking through people's windows and trying to look into their eyes and see what they understand about what he's saying to them. A small town is good because there's gossip ‑‑ right? ‑‑ and there's history, and everybody has their own story of what everything means, and they can develop their own versions. So it's very, very ‑‑ it's very, very treacherous to even walk around the corner ‑‑ right? ‑‑ besides my life at home. I have a daughter who is in high school. So I've got to be really, really, really careful. I think that that's hopefully going to be part of the tension is it's got to be obvious, right? Somebody has got to know, and we are going to find out who they are and what they know and maybe what I have to do to shut them up....""

""The Secret Circle" cast includes Britt Robertson, Thomas Dekker, Natasha Henstridge and Gale Harold, all of whom were on the panel. The show looks Northwesterny, but it's not filmed in Washington -- like the "Twilight" movies "New Moon" and "Eclipse," it's filmed in British Columbia.
In a clip shown before the panel, Harold's character looks pretty menacing. A questioner asked about his character and whether he's as evil as he seems.

A new TCA article by Laura Prudom (@LauinLA) from aoltv.com gives us a little more insight into Gale's character in The Secret Circle:
"Diana might not be the villain of the story, but her father, played by Gale Harold, is certainly toeing that line. "I'm not sure if he's even sure what he's up to," Harold wryly admitted. "He's very drawn to bringing back something he thought he had his hands on when he was younger. He needs this new generation [of witches] to come and bind together and through that, my character and Natasha [Henstridge] utilize that. He has to make sure that everyone around him assumes that he's just an upstanding nice man, that he's not just a bad guy."
If the writers do their job right, though, "you'll understand why the villains are doing what they're doing," Williamson said. "There's a reason for their actions, and their kids will come to understand their parents in ways they never would've expected from the pilot.""

"From the pilot it looks like Charles (Gale Harold) is the worst guy (who isn't really a guy) on the planet, but Harold assured us it's not so cut and dry.
"What's interesting about [Charles] is he kind of has to make sure everyone around him assumes he's just a nice upstanding man and good father, while playing the double [agent]," Harold shared. "We're all a little bit evil, aren't we?"
