in the whole world there are about 7 billion people. We look around and we take in that we’re surrounded by crowds of shifting people, each of them being unique and one of a kind… but, then, we realize that in the huge mass there are just a few people that we really acknowledge as special, that we share some kind of connection with, sort of a familiarity, that give us indescribable feelings… people we feel attracted to.

Looking at you through the screen, I’ve always had the feeling that you were different, special, that you were much more than a great actor. For this reason I decided that I would attend the Convention in Bologna at least for one day, in order to verify my feelings. I barely had the chance to say hello and thank you, but I think it’s not vital that you can actually talk to somebody, because the feelings you can experience being next to this person speak louder than anything else! I was there to take a look at you, beyond your work, to feel who you are at least for a moment, to peer into your eyes and discover they’re so deep that you can’t see the bottom.

I’m not interested in fame. I’ve always liked seeing past the external appearance and listening to my feelings… and this is why being next to you at that moment was so important: because the feelings I had and the way I felt told me that there’s a whole world to be discovered in you. I felt an indescribable emotion while having my photo taken with you. Looking at your eyes, I felt my racing heart sink in a quiet sentiment.

I take it you are a very interesting person capable of expressing so much more than the simple words. I really appreciated your shyness and your humor. I loved your kindness and your being completely yourself. You’re a wonderful complex soul and it’s great to know you.

Sometimes people seem to forget that we all are the same: persons. Different jobs and different situations don’t make us better or worse, more or less important, but just different. So, I want to thank you for attending this event and for being your true self. I also thank you for giving me the chance to meet you and to confirm my ideas, which could never be possible just looking at you through a virtual world, my computer in my case. Nothing can be compared to the real contact, to the feelings coming from a hug. The look in your eyes is deeply nestled in my heart.
