We made some screencaps from Gale's new interview!

One day ago David Bender, writer and director of the documentary film Playing Gay: How America Came Out on Television, uploaded a video interview with Gale Harold on his Vimeo channel.
A month ago we had already talked ( HERE ) about this amazing documentary which covers the importance and the impact that television LGBT characters had on the real world.
In this recent long and very interesting interview Gale answers David Bender's questions about different topics: his growing up in a South Pentecostal family, his siblings, what kind of shows he was watching while growing up, his moving to San Francisco to attend a photography school, what kind of music he was listening to and which kind of clubs he was going to, the homosexual community and the impact AIDS had in the Bay Area's society, his decision to start acting mostly due to his moving to Los Angeles.

As already announced, we are following the Gale Harold Fanmeet on our website queer-as-folk.it.

Now we have to announce that Gale’s pictures from the event will not be on our gallery. We’ll continue to follow the Fanmeet, but we’ll share only pictures of Randy.

It seems that Gale asked not to publish on the internet his pics from the event (not even the pictures taken during the panels). We are really sorry he is in pain, but that’s not the point. We decided to fulfill his request, even if we don’t understand it and we don’t find anything disrespectful in the pictures taken according the rules of the event.

We really are sorry for all the people who can not attend the Fanmeet because our work was intended especially for them, and we are sorry for all the people that so kindly gave us the permission to share their pics and can not see them on the website (Thank you again very much) but from now on our site will share only the pictures of Randy.

As you already know #GaleHarold is in Bilbao, right now, for the Gale Harold Fan meet that started today.

We added some pictures, and will be adding more, on our queer-as-folk.it's gallery. The event is scheduled in Bilbao from September 9 to September 11th.

we uploaded a lot of new wonderful pictures to the album created a few hours ago and we also have some informations about them: they were taken on July 27th, 2013 by the photographer Barbara Green!!

We'd like to thank amammamia, O_nika55, Ifigenia and Otona, they all help us in different ways to find the pictures and the source. Thank you very much!
